Title: ●Revisions to License Exception GOV to Provide Authorization for Exports and Reexports of Items for Use on the International Space Station (ISS)
Abstract: The rule amends the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by revising an existing license exception to provide a new authorization for exports and reexports of items subject to the EAR when those items are intended for use on the International Space Station (ISS). Under this new authorization, this rule adds specific terms and conditions that must be complied with by persons using this new authorization, such as the export or reexport must be consigned to a party working in an official capacity for the ISS. In addition, exports or reexports authorized by this authorization must be delivered to the ISS within six (6) months of the date of export or reexport, among other terms and conditions that have been added to the EAR as a part of this new authorization.
