Abstract: This rule would implement provisions of the Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007, (Pub. L. 110-134) requiring the Secretary to develop a system that will evaluate each grantees performance every five years to determine which grantees are providing services of such high quality that they should be given another five year grant and need not recompete for a continuation of their Head Start grant. | |
