Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination and Critical Habitat Designation for Two Hawaiian Damselflies
Abstract: We will list two species of Hawaiian damselflies that have been candidates for endangered listing since 1984: Flying earwig Hawaiian damselfly (Megalagrion nesiotes), now known from only one population on the island of Maui, and the Pacific Hawaiian damselfly (M. pacificum), now known from one population on the island of Hawaii and a few populations each on the islands of Maui and Molokai. When we list, we will also determine whether critical habitat is prudent.
