Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for Hines Emerald Dragonfly
Abstract: On September 5, 2007 (72 FR 51101), we published a final rule designating critical habitat for Hine's emerald dragonfly (Somatochlora hineana). A total of approximately 13,221 ac (5,350 ha) in 22 units fell within the boundaries of our designation, in Cook, DuPage, and Will Counties in IL; Alpena, Mackinac, and Presque Isle Counties in MI; and Door and Ozaukee Counties in WI. Because the court subsequently remanded exclusions contained in the final rule, we are reopening the comment period on our original proposal (published September 5, 2007, 72 FR 51101) to further analyze the exclusions. This rule is not controversial; we do not expect major economic impacts.
