Title: ●Wildlife and Fisheries; Wildlife Restoration, Sport Fish Restoration, Hunter Education and Safety Regulations; Financial Assistance
Abstract: We will revise our regulations governing three grant programs we administer under the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration and Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Acts (Acts): Wildlife Restoration, Sport Fish Restoration, and Hunter Education and Safety. We will clarify specific issues relative to the Acts, make the regulations easier to understand, and address new issues raised during and after development of our July 24, 2008, final rule (73 FR 43120; 1018-AV99). These grant programs provide financial assistance to the fish and wildlife agencies of States and other eligible jurisdictions to restore and manage sport fish and wildlife and provide hunter education and safety programs.
