Title: ●Special Regulations for Snowmobile Use in Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and Rockefeller Pkwy
Abstract: A 2008 court decision invalidated the special regulations that we published in 2004, which prohibited snowmobile and snowcoach after the 2006-2007 winter season. The proposed rule would implement the preferred alternative in our 2008 Temporary Winter Use Plans/Environmental Assessment, and again allow snowmobiles and snowcoaches into the parks and parkway for 3 winter seasons beginning in 2008, although they would be restricted to specified numbers per day.
