Title: Permit Application Packages 
Abstract: The Office of Surface Mining (OSM) is proposing revisions to its regulations governing the number of copies of a permit application that must be submitted to OSM. The number is being reduced to one original and two copies in order to conform to Office of Management and Budget regulations at 5 CFR 1320.5(d)(2)(iii). Since our submission requirements are found in our regulations, rulemaking is required to make the change.
