Title: Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices 
Abstract: OTS issued an advance notice of proposed rulemaking to solicit comment on its regulations relating to unfair or deceptive acts or practices to determine whether and, if so, to what extent, additional regulation is needed to ensure customers of OTS-regulated entities are treated fairly. The FRB, NCUA and OTS issued a final rule on January 29, 2009 with an effective date of July 1, 2009.
