Title: State Access to the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund (USCG-2004-19123) | |
Abstract: Pursuant to the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90), this action specifies how the Coast Guard will exercise the authority to obligate the pollution trust fund for oil spill response and clean-up efforts, and to enter into agreements with the States. The Coast Guard is evaluating the performance of the interim rule. This rulemaking supports the Coast Guard's strategic goal of protection of natural resources. | |
