Title: Security Considerations--Background Checks 
Abstract: The rulemaking amends the DOE Acquisition Regulation security clause to include the Department’s requirement that employers do background checks before employment of persons who will require access authorizations to perform contract duties and that they and their employees agree to the use of mediation services as may be required to ensure continuity of operations.
