Title: NESHAP: Area Source Standards for Miscellaneous Chemical Manufacturing 
Abstract: This rule will regulate hazardous air pollutant (HAP) emissions from area sources in the chemical manufacturing industry pursuant to Clean Air Act section 112. The rule will cover the manufacturing of industrial organic chemicals, inorganic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, inorganic pigments, synthetic rubber, and plastic materials. These source categories were listed for regulation under the Clean Air Act section 112 Urban Air Toxic Strategy to address urban HAP emissions from area sources.
