Title: Credit Assistance for Surface Transportation Projects
Abstract: The NPRM is being withdrawn in order to allow the Obama Administration to review the program and decide what, if any changes, it may wish to propose. This rulemaking would have amended the TIFIA rule to implement recent statutory changes and incorporate certain other changes that the DOT believes would improve the efficiency of the program and its usefulness to borrowers. This rulemaking would have also extended applicability of the rule to the Maritime Administration.
