Title: Airworthiness Standards: Aircraft Engine Standards Overtorque Limits | |
Abstract: This rulemaking would establish a standard for applicants to use when applying for and obtaining approval of a maximum engine overtorque limit. The rule harmonizes FAA and European standards and simplifies airworthiness approvals for the import and export of turbopropeller and turboshaft engines with free power turbines. The intended effect of this action is to improve requirements for maximum engine overtorque limits. | |
