Title: Reimbursement for Interment Costs 
Abstract: This document amends the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) adjudication regulations to incorporate relevant provisions from the Dr. James Allen Veteran Vision Equity Act of 2007 regarding reimbursement of interment costs. Specifically, this document amends VA’s adjudication regulations regarding a time limitation for filing claims for reimbursement of interment costs pertaining to unclaimed remains of deceased veterans. This amendment is necessary to conform the regulations to enacted legislation.
