Title: Informal Procedure Relating to the Recommendation of Enforcement Proceedings | |
Abstract: The Appendix to the Commission's Rules Relating to Investigations, 17 CFR part 11, set forth informal procedures relating to the recommendation of enforcement proceedings. Under Appendix A to part 11, persons who may be named in the proposed enforcement action may submit to the Division of Enforcement written statements setting forth their views of factual, legal or policy matters relevant to commencement of an enforcement proceeding. The Commission is considering extending the page limit for such written submissions from 20 pages to 45 pages. | |
