Title: Third Party Accreditation for Children's Metal Jewelry 
Abstract: Section 102(a) of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA), Public Law 110-314, 122 Stat. 3016 (August 14, 2008), requires the Commission to publish notice of requirements for the accreditation of third party conformity assessment bodies (laboratories) to assess conformity with the standard for children's metal jewelry by December 12, 2008. The notice of requirements was published in the Federal Register on December 22, 2008.
