Title: Nonforeign Area Cost-of-Living Allowances; 2007 Interim Adjustments: Puerto Rico
Abstract: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is publishing a final rule to change the cost-of-living allowance (COLA) rate received by certain white-collar Federal and U.S. Postal Service employees in Puerto Rico. The rate change is the result of an interim adjustment OPM calculated based on relative Consumer Price Index differences between the Puerto Rico COLA area and the Washington, DC area. The final rule would increase the rate for Puerto Rico by 1 percentage point.
