| Title: Regulation Y--Bank Holding Companies and Change in Bank Control | |
| Abstract: The Board will consider issuing for public comment amendments to Regulation Y to update the regulation to reflect statutory changes to the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 (BHC Act) and related laws. The Board anticipates proposing a number of changes to the regulation, as a part of its periodic and comprehensive review of Regulation Y, including a reorganization of the regulation and modification to reflect changes in the banking industry and the market for financial services that have occurred since the last comprehensive update of the regulation. It is not anticipated that the proposals will have a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities subject to the Board's regulation. | |
