Title: FAR Case 2007-017; Service Contractor Employee Personal Conflicts of Interest
Abstract: The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (Councils) are interested in determining if, when, and how service contractor employees' personal conflicts of interest (PCI) need to be addressed and whether greater disclosure of contractor practices, specific prohibitions, or reliance on specified principles would be most effective and efficient in promoting ethical behavior. The comment period is reopened for an additional 30 days to provide additional time for interested parties to review and comment on the Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. This was not a significant regulatory action and, therefore, was not subject to review under section 6 of Executive Order 12866, Regulatory Planning and Review, dated September 30, 1993. This rule is not a major rule under 5 U.S.C. 804.
