Title: Competitive and Noncompetitive Non-Formula Federal Assistance Programs--General Award Administrative Provisions and Specialty Crops (SCRI)
Abstract: The passage of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008, amended various Agency program authorities (e.g., expand eligibility) and authorized new programs. This rule codifies administrative provisions for all non-formula Federal assistance programs, as well as policies and procedures applicable to specific Federal assistance programs. CSREES is proposing to add subpart F to 7 CFR 3430 for the Specialty Crop Research Initiative (SCRI) as authorized by section 7311 of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008, which added section 412 to the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998 (AREERA).
