Abstract: This rulemaking would provide rules and guidance for requisite train conductor certification to ensure that individuals have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of a train conductor. This rulemaking may propose that each railroad adopt and comply with a written program for certifying and recertifying the qualifications of conductors.
