Title: Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations: Administrative Funding Allocation Methodology 
Abstract: This rulemaking would solicit public comment on a proposal by the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) to create a more rational and equitable method for allocating administrative funds for the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) across FNS Regional Offices. The rulemaking would also propose minor changes to regulations at 7 CFR 253.11, as appropriate, to conform to the proposed funding methodology. It would not impact the total amount of FDPIR administrative funds appropriated, nor would it impose any additional paperwork burdens or restrictions on the Indian Tribal Organizations (ITOs) and State agencies (SAs) that administer FDPIR. The FNS Regional Offices would allocate available funds to the ITOs and SAs in much the same manner as under the previous funding methodology (08-001).
