Title: Protection of Stratospheric Ozone: Process for Exempting Emergency Uses of Methyl Bromide | |
Abstract: Under the Clean Air Act and the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, this rule would seek to create an exemption for emergency uses of methyl bromide, an ozone-depleting substance. This exemption will be limited to no more than 20 metric tons per emergency event. This rule would define what qualifies as an emergency use. | |
