Abstract: The Site Remediation NESHAP regulation was promulgated on October 8, 2003. EPA was challenged by the Sierra Club on several provisions in the rule. The main issues involve exemptions to the rule's requirements for cleanups performed under Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) or Superfund authorities, and an exemption for units handling radioactive mixed waste. | |
