Title: Market Agency, Dealer, and Packer Bonds 
Abstract: GIPSA is reviewing how bonds are calculated for market agencies, dealers, and packers (bonded entities) under the Packers and Stockyards Act, 1921. We are initiating this review to determine what alternatives, if any, exist for revising the P&S Act regulations to better secure obligations to livestock sellers and consignors without exceeding a reasonable cost for the bonded entities.
