Title: Commerce Acquisition Regulation (CAR): 2008 Update 
Abstract: The Commerce Acquisition Regulation (CAR) was originally codified March 30, 1984, and amended by subsequent Federal Register Notices. The Department of Commerce (DOC) proposes to update the entire CAR through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-21. This update will bring the CAR in alignment with the FAR through FAC 2005-21 and streamline DOC internal policy and guidance.
