Title: Protection of Stratospheric Ozone: New Substitute in the Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Sector Under the Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program 
Abstract: In this action, the Agency proposed to list the refrigerant HFO-1234yf as an acceptable substitute in motor vehicle air conditioning (MVAC) systems, and outlines the conditions necessary for its safe use. This refrigerant has very low global warming potential. Current MVAC refrigerants are highly potent greenhouse gases.
