| Title: Area Risk Protection Insurance and Various Crop Insurance Provisions | |
| Abstract: The Basic Provisions and Crop Provisions for the Group Risk Plan (GRP) Common Policy are published in 7 CFR part 407. The Group Risk Income Protection (GRIP) plan of insurance and the Harvest Revenue Option (HRO), which is an endorsement to the GRIP plan, are programs approved by the FCIC's Board of Directors under section 508(h) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act. The GRP, GRIP, and GRIP-HRO products have many duplicative features between them. The Risk Management Agency is proposing to replace these two policies and endorsement with one new policy named the Area Risk Protection Insurance (ARPI). | |
