Title: Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program 
Abstract: The purpose of the Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program (FRPP) is to protect the agricultural use of land and related conservation values of eligible land by limiting nonagricultural uses of that land. FRPP facilitates and provides funding for the purchase of conservation easements or other interests in eligible land. FRPP is a voluntary program and provides matching funds to State, Tribal, and local governments and nongovernmental organizations with farmland protection programs to purchase conservation easements.
