Title: Army National Cemeteries 
Abstract: The Department of the Army intended to modify its regulation concerning Arlington National Cemetery. Army Regulation 290-5 states the authority and assigns the responsibilities for the development, operation, maintenance, and administration of the Arlington and the U.S. Soldier's and Airmen's Home National Cemeteries, civil works activities of the Department of the Army. The regulation further prescribes policies and procedures on eligibility for interment, inurnment, and memorialization; disinterments and disinurnments; the Arlington Memorial Amphitheater; solicitations; headstones, niche covers and memorial markers; memorial and commemorative monuments, tributes to commemorate individuals, events, units, groups, and/or organizations; visitors, media and videographer rules.
