Title: ●Protection of Stratospheric Ozone: Listing of Substitutes for Ozone-Depleting Substances--Fire Protection
Abstract: This direct final action would list as acceptable (subject to use restrictions) a substitute for ozone-depleting substances in the fire suppression and explosion protection sector under EPA's Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program. The SNAP Program evaluates substitutes for ozone-depleting substances and publishes lists of acceptable and unacceptable substitutes. The intended effect of the SNAP Program is to support the transition away from ozone-depleting substances through review of substitutes and their effects on human health and the environment.
