Abstract: The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) proposes to issue regulations to clarify and incorporate specific information regarding benefits for parents, domestic partners, and children of domestic partners during an evacuation, or where the employee is assigned to Johnston Island, as a result of sections 1(a)(v) and (a)(vii) of the President's June 2, 2010, domestic partner initiative, Extension of Benefits to Same-Sex Domestic Partners of Federal Employees. This will incorporate the changes that were going to be issued under RIN 3206-AM23. | |
