| Abstract: The Department of Defense (DoD) proposes to establish policy, assign responsibilities, and provide procedures for the issuing of distinct DoD ID cards as prescribed in 18 U.S.C. 499, 506, 509, 701, and 1001. The ID card shall be issued to uniformed service members, their dependents, and other eligible individuals and will be used as proof of identity and DoD affiliation. | |
