| Title: Pilot Program for the Temporary Exchange of Information Technology Personnel | |
| Abstract: The Department of Defense (DoD) is issuing regulations to implement provisions contained in the section 1110 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 (Pub. L.111-84), October 28, 2009. This law authorizes the temporary detail of employees in the field of information technology management from the DoD to private sector organizations. It also authorizes DoD Components to accept private sector employees detailed under this program. This program is envisioned to promote the interchange of DoD and private sector workers to enhance skills and competencies. | |
