Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Establishment of a Nonessential Experimental Population of American Burying Beetle in Southwest Missouri
Abstract: Will will make a final determination on our proposal to establish a nonessential experimental population of the American burying beetle, an endangered species in Missouri, under section 10(j) of the Endangered Species Act. This rule would aid in reintroducing the species into the Wah'kon-tah Prairie in southwest Missouri. The 3,000-acre Wah'kon-tah Prairie is in the center of the four counties (Cedar, St. Clair, Bates, and Vernon) that would be the boundaries of the nonessential experimental population area.
