Title: Demonstrations, Public Assembly and Distribution of Printed Material | |
Abstract: The rule will create an exemption from obtaining a permit for small groups and individuals who wish to exercise their 1st Amendment right in units of the National Park Service by conducting such activities as demonstrations, marches, vigils and religious ceremonies. The regulation requiring permits for such activities was struck down as unconstitutional by the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in the DC Circuit in August 2010. | |
