| Title: Inclusion of Electric Drive Vehicles in the Alternative Fuel Transportation Program | |
| Abstract: Under the Alternative Fuel Transportation Program certain State and Alternative Fuel Provider fleets are required to acquire alternative fueled vehicles. Under the Energy Policy Act of 1992, as amended by the Energy Independence And Security Act of 2007, DOE is directed to establish credits under the Program for acquisitions of certain electric drive and hybrid-electric vehicles. This rulemaking will define the acquisitions that will qualify for credit and the corresponding credit values. | |
