Abstract: The Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 amends the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to require the test procedures for all products, including central air conditioners and heat pumps, be amended to include standby and off mode energy consumption. This rule addresses test procedure requirements for standby and off mode, as well as other requirements to test these products. | |
