Title: ●Energy Efficiency Standards for Dishwashers 
Abstract: Section 310 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA 2007) amends the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA) to require that DOE publish a final rule no later than January 1, 2015, determining whether to amend the standards for dishwashers manufactured on or after January 1, 2018. On July 30, 2010, DOE received a Consensus Agreement from joint petitioners, including manufacturers, energy and environmental advocates, and consumer groups, containing proposed dishwasher standards that would have a compliance date of January 1, 2013. DOE is considering the proposed standards from the Consensus Agreement in this rulemaking.
