| Title: Technical Amendments to Processing Procedures Under the Federal Tort Claims Act | |
| Abstract: DOE is making technical amendments to its regulations pertaining to processing claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act. The technical amendments will remove references to positions, other than the General Counsel, delegated authority to act on tort claims so that the General Counsel may redelegate his or her authority to DOE employees on an individual basis. These regulatory amendments do not alter substantive rights or obligations under current law. | |
