Title: ●Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) (RRR) 
Abstract: This rulemaking would amend the FAA´s regulations for landing under instrument flight rules when using a certified Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS). Currently, in order to descend from 100 feet above the threshold to touchdown, the operator must see visual references using only natural vision. The intended effect would be to permit operators to use a certified EFVS in lieu of natural vision to continue descending from 100 feet above the threshold to touchdown. This rulemaking would also permit certain operators using an EFVS-equipped aircraft to initiate a flight and to continue an approach when the destination airport weather is below published visibility minimums. This action is necessary to expand operational capabilities and benefits for landing under instrument flight rules when using a certified EFVS.
