3133-AE00 201110 The Regulatory Plan and the Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions 3133 National Credit Union Administration NCUA Loan Participation; Purchase, Sale and Pledge of Eligible Obligations The NCUA plans to request public comment on a proposal to amend and clarify its loan participation regulation and relevant provisions in the eligible obligations rule, the rule governing the purchase of assets and assumption of liabilities, and the rule implementing the agency's Regulatory Flexibility Program (RegFlex). The proposed rule will clarify application of the loan participation rule and its relationship to these other rules. The proposed rule reorganizes and streamlines the regulatory provisions relating to credit union purchases of loan participations to improve credit union understanding of the transactions covered under the rule; the requirements for purchase and ongoing monitoring; and the applicability of related provisions. The proposed rule also expands loan participation requirements to state chartered federally-insured credit unions.
