Title: Child and Adult Care Food Program: Amendments Related to the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 | |
Abstract: This rule proposes to codify several provisions of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111-296; the Act) that affect management of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), including: (1) developing policies under which institutions submit an initial CACFP application to the State agency; (2) allowing day care homes to assist families in transmitting program forms which contain household income information to the sponsoring organization, and directing the Secretary to establish appropriate policies; and (3) modifying the structure and formula for determining administrative payments to sponsoring organizations of family day care homes, and allowing sponsoring organizations to carry over up to 10 percent of their administrative funding from the previous fiscal year into the next fiscal year. | |
