Title: ●Approved State Plans for Occupational Safety and Health
Abstract: OSHA will propose a revision to each State's subpart under 29 CFR section 1952 and 29 CFR section 1956 to scale back the detailed descriptions of OSHA-approved state plans, including the jurisdictional explanation, purely historical data, and other unnecessary information that may be subject to change. The purpose of this revision is to eliminate the requirement to engage in the arduous rulemaking process in order to make changes to a state plan's jurisdiction or other descriptive language.
