| Title: Harmonization of Standards for Fire Protection and Extinguishing Equipment | |
| Abstract: The Coast Guard proposes to amend its regulations for fire, protection, detection, and extinguishing equipment on inspected and uninspected vessels and outer continental shelf facilities. These changes are necessary to ensure Coast Guard regulations remain current and address advances in new technologies. The proposed rules would also harmonize the Coast Guard's regulations with the appropriate national and international consensus standards for fire protection, detection, and extinguishing equipment. | |
