DHS/USCG RIN: 1625-AB95 Publication ID: 2012
Title: ●Inland Waterways Navigation Regulations; Sacramento, CA
Abstract: This rulemaking would remove the Decker Island restricted anchorage area in Sacramento River. The restricted anchorage area was needed to prevent non-government vessels from transiting through or anchoring in anchorage area. The United States Army relinquished control of the Island in 1975, and the restriction is no longer necessary. This rulemaking supports the Coast Guard's responsibility for maritime safety.
