Title: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); FAR Case 2011-003; Payment on T&M/LH Contracts 
Abstract: DoD, GSA, and NASA amended the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to make changes to the payment provisions for time-and-materials and labor-hour contracts, addressing potential problems with two final rules on these types of contracts which were issued on December 12, 2006 under FAR Cases 2003-027 and 2004-015. The most significant changes in the referenced cases were the authorizing of the use of time-and-materials and labor-hour contracts for commercial services under specified conditions, and revised and clarified policies related to the award and administration of noncommercial time-and-materials and labor-hour contracts, and the policies regarding payments made under those contracts.
