Abstract: This rule will incorporate the penalty inflation adjustment for civil money penalties under the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005, in accordance with the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990, as amended by the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996.
