Title: ●Pesticides; Technical Amendments to Data Requirements
Abstract: Subsequent to updating the EPA data requirements for the registration of conventional, microbial, and biochemical pesticides in 2007, EPA has identified the need for several technical amendments. EPA is developing a rulemaking consisting of the following editorial and technical changes: (1) nomenclature corrections; (2) adding/correcting guideline number references; (3) correcting scientific units in the test notes; and (4) clarifying information on appropriate test species. These technical amendments are intended to improve clarity by making necessary corrections and providing additional information. The additional clarity and information is expected to reduce the need for regulated entities to seek clarifications from EPA on a case-by-case basis. EPA does not expect this action to involve any new or substantively revised data requirements. These technical amendments are not anticipated to have any adverse impacts on regulated entities.
