Title: Risk Reduction Program | |
Abstract: This rulemaking would consider appropriate contents or require each Class I railroad and each railroad with inadequate safety performance to develop and implement a Risk Reduction Program (RRP) and how they should be implemented and reviewed by FRA. Program (RRP) to improve the safety of their operations. Each RRP would be required to include a risk analysis, a technology implementation plan, and a fatigue management plan. Railroads would be required to conduct annual internal assessments of their RRPs, which could also be externally audited by FRA. | |
